SHIPPING, DELIVERY, REFUNDS, RETURNS AND DAMAGES INFO

Communication is key!

Whatever the issue with your item, your first port of call should be to contact me at calida@beamsandbobbins.co.uk  where i will aim to resolve the problem.

Payment

You can buy items in the shop using either PayPal, Credit/Debit card or Bank Transfer / BACS. If you pay via Bank Transfer/BACS it could take an additional 2 days to process on top of the usual despatch time, before the payment has cleared in my account.

Despatch and Delivery

Depending on the piece (most are indicated on the product info page) it can take up to ten working days (not including Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays) from the day you place your order for your pieces to be made and shipped; As a small indie business its difficult to predict sales and I’d rather not have excess stock hanging round. However, most orders normally are dispatched within 2-3 working days. If you need the item much faster or are on a deadline, just send me an email and I can see what can be done.

Import Duties, Charges or Taxes

The buyer is responsible for any import duties, charges or taxes if applicable.

Delivery and Shipping

I use Royal mail and send orders to the UK 2nd class and non tracked Air Mail for all international orders as standard. It can take up to 3 days in Britiain from the date of despatch. If you require your order quicker or tracked then please email before purchase. If you are a non-UK customer please remember your item is being shipped from England so please allow approximately 10 days to Europe and up to 6 weeks to arrive to USA, Canada, Australia and Asia. 

Lost / Undelivered

Royal Mail do not consider a package to be officially lost until 15 days after the expected delivery date (around 18 days after dispatch for UK orders and 25 for International orders). In the unlikely event that your order has gotten lost, please contact me at calida@beamsandbobbins.co.uk

Delivery Damage

If you can show that your item was damaged upon delivery, I will usually send you a replacement free of charge, or alternatively a full refund. I will ask for photographic evidence from you in these instances, to help me recover insurance monies from Royal Mail.

Returns

I hope you love the jewellery as much as I enjoy making it; But if for any reason you are not happy, you’re welcome to return your purchase within 14 days of delivery (not including custom orders or earrings).  I only accept returned items which are unused and in their original packaging. For hygiene reasons, I DO NOT allow returns on earrings.  I will need proof of purchase in all cases, whether your item was bought in one of my stockists or online.

There are certain situations where returns cannot be accepted: Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error; or any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery date.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item and I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after 5 business days from e-mail approval, please contact me via calida@beamsandbobbins.co.uk

Sale and custom made items

Only full priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items or made to order and custom made jewellery designs cannot be refunded.

Exchanges/ Defective Items and Repairs

I will repair or replace items if they are defective within 30 days. If you accidentally damage an item (past this point or through your own fault) and would like to discuss repairs, please get in touch with me , and I will advise you on the next steps – calida@beamsandbobbins.co.uk

Shipping on Returns

Shipping costs are non refundable and you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.  Please note that the buyer is responsible for any import duties, charges or taxes if applicable.
